How to make a claim with Prudential Insurance

If you have a Prudential car insurance policy you would normally get in touch with the Prudential car accident claims line following your accident. For independent advice and assistance with car accident claims call 0330 058 1704 and we will be happy to help.

If you have been involved in an accident that was not your fault, it can be frustrating to realise that you may still have to pay the excess amount on your policy.

If we are able to process your claim independently of your insurer, it will not be necessary to make a claim on your own insurance policy. This means that you almost certainly won't have to pay the excess on your policy and your no-claims bonus should stay protected.


How is this different from an insurance claim?

Your insurer will be notified of your accident as required by law, but it will be noted only for information purposes only.

We will then arrange all the services you require. These services will include all the normal advice and support you would expect to get you back on the road as soon as possible.

You will not be required to pay for these services as we will recover these costs on your behalf directly from the at-fault driver's insurer.


Will I get a replacement vehicle?

If your vehicle is un-roadworthy, we will typically be able to deliver a like-for-like replacement to you within 3 hours of accepting your claim.

The majority of our hire vehicles are less than six months old and we will always endeavour to supply a vehicle that matches your own, whether it is a van, car or motorbike.

We can even supply specialist vehicles such as refrigerated vans or taxi's if appropriate.


Where will my vehicle be repaired?

We will arrange for your vehicle to be repaired at an approved accident repair centre that is local to you - or if you prefer, at a repairer of your own choice.


Can I get legal help and assistance?

The solicitors we work with can help or advise you regarding issues including uninsured loss recovery, out of pocket expenses or personal injury compensation claims should you need it.
