Late Whiplash Syndrome

Generally people who suffer from a Whiplash-Associated Disorder have the symptoms for less than three months, but occasionally they may still get neck pains or headaches.

A proportion of those who sustain whiplash injuries may however go on to suffer what is known as Late Whiplash Syndrome.

Late Whiplash Syndrome is the term given to a group of residual symptoms that persist for longer than six months after the accident occurred. It's existence has often been denied by insurance companies looking to defend compensation claims but increasingly many medical practitioners recognise Late Whiplash Syndrome as valid condition and are prepared to support compensation claims for it.

If you have sustained a whiplash injury following a road accident that was not your fault, you may be entitled to claim compensation. Please call us now on 0845 676 0615 for help and advice from one of our experienced claims advisors.
