Consulting a doctor before a whiplash injury claim
Sometimes at the start of the claim process we get asked the question 'I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault and I think I have symptoms of whiplash, but I have not been to see my doctor - can I still start a claim?' - the answer is yes, you can.
There are many situations where people have suffered whiplash injuries, and where the other driver admits that they were clearly at-fault - this is called 'accepting liability'.
