A 'courtesy car' is not the same as a ‘hire-car’

A courtesy car will usually be a basic saloon or hatchback and you may not be offered a choice. What’s more – you may only be offered a vehicle – if they have one available and if you need it for less than a set number of days. Courtesy cars are kept by most larger garages and are typically available on a first come, first served basis.
