The disadvantages of making non-fault Taxi insurance claims

Your insurer may not access to the variety of replacement hire-vehicles we do, including fully equipped and plated Taxis.

You may want your Taxi repaired by a specific accident repair centre, someone you have used before and can trust to do a good job. Your insurer may be reluctant to allow you to do this and may in fact charge you for using a repairer that does not give them preferential rates. We can either use one of our approved repairers or one you choose, it makes no difference to us.

If you have an excess on your policy, your insurer will probably want you to pay it ‘up-front’ and then the money is recovered weeks or months later from the at-fault driver’s insurer. There is no excess to pay when you use our service.

All the costs and charges associated with your non-fault accident claim are recovered directly from the at-fault driver’s insurer on your behalf.


Can you report my fault claims for me?

Yes of course. We appreciate that getting hold of an insurer can be difficult and time consuming, so we are happy to take care of this for you for no extra charge.

For non-fault claims, your insurer will be notified about the accident ‘for information purposes only’ which means they are made aware, but they will not be dealing with the claim.
