Government road safety campaign THINK! begins it's Christmas 2012 anti-drink and drug driving campaign in earnest tomorrow.
The mainstay of the campaign will be a hard hitting TV advert which will run between 4 December and the 23 December warning drivers of the possible consequences of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.
Statistics show that in 2011, 280 people were killed in accidents involving drivers that were over the drink driving limit.
The campaign is intended to highlight not only the risk of injury to drivers and other road users from drink and drug driving, but also the personal consequences of being prosecuted for driving whilst over the legal limit.
The best way to stay safe this Christmas is to not drink and drive.
