Driving examiner strike planned for Thursday 10 July 2014. 4/07/14


Following an announcement that the Public and Commercial Service union is planning to take strike action on the 10 July 2014 the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has urged driving test candidates to come to their test appointments as normal.

They have advised that although they will be doing everything possible to minimise any disruption.

Candidates who's tests are affected will not need to re-book their tests as they should be contacted by the agency with a new test appointment within 5 to 10 working days.

It should also be possible to claim out-of-pocket expenses if they have turned up for a test which has had to be cancelled.

Driving theory tests are not anticipated to be affected by the planned strike action.
