Owning a retro car becomes trendy thanks
to popular TV shows. 4/11/11
Thanks to the popularity of TV shows such as 'The Only Way is Essex' these cars have become more and more desirable to own, according to a recent report.Cars that were previously considered 'un-cool' are now apparently being sought in increasing numbers by younger drivers due to their appearance in the current crop of 'semi-reality' TV shows on our screens.
Some of the cars in the 'top ten' such as the Ford Capri, Land Rover Defender, Citroen DS and the 2CV have always shared a certain kudos and so it is not that surprising that they are considered 'cool' and desirable. Some of the cars however may raise a few eyebrows!The top two cars are the Honda civic at number one, and the Ford Sierra at number two.
If you are in the market for a retro car with a distinctive character, it takes quite a stretch of the imagination to understand why these two undoubtedly fine, but otherwise unremarkable looking vehicles would be at the top of your list!
