Halfords have announced that their Autocentres are showing a continued increase in revenues. 22/07/11
In an interim financial report, Halfords have announced that the performance of their Autocentre business continues to do well despite the tough economic climate.
Sales growth for this part of their business was stated to have increased by 7.4% during the 13 week period up to the 1st July.
Since Halfords relaunched their Autocentre business their revenues have continued to improve despite the increasing cost of motoring.
Halfords CEO David Wild commented "We are pleased with the progress in our Autocentres business. The positive trend in sales has been achieved at a difficult time for motorists when they are reducing mileage. It demonstrates the strength of our proposition and the potential for the Halfords brand to grow in the garage-servicing sector."
